Project Description

Expert Health Unit

There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don’t look even slightly believable. If you are going to use a passage of lorem ipsum you need to be sure there isn’t anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text.

  • Proin libero tellus, ultrices eu vehicula sed
  • Luctus vitae nulla. Quisque efficitur lobortis orci amet vehicula.
  • Sed tincidunt tincidunt velit, vel scelerisque nibh tincidunt ut.
  • Suspendisse mi lorem, placerat in arcu ut, placerat aliquet felis.
  • Praesent bibendum felis nec turpis fringilla suscipit.

World Class Facilites

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source.

Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE2019-06-28T10:07:17+00:00

It is based on the premise that a blockage or disturbance in the flow of the body’s life energy, or “qi,” can cause health issues. Acupuncturists use hair-thin needles to specific acupuncture points throughout the body to restore the flow of qi, balance the body’s energy, stimulate healing, and promote relaxation.

WHAT IS OSTEOPATHY?2017-06-11T19:42:19+00:00

Osteopathy is a treatment of the musculo-skeletal system, which includes the muscles, bones, ligaments, tendons, nerves, blood supply and other connective tissues. Its aim is to consider the whole body and how that relates to the pain or discomfort with which a patient may present.

To function at its best a body needs harmony and fluidity and an osteopath is trained to locate the areas that may limit this expression. This may be as a result of postural imbalances, poor work stations, illness, injuries, stress, wear and tear or limiting beliefs. An osteopath will try to locate the cause of the complaint and then treat to alleviate the pain or discomfort. This is done using a variety of techniques, massage, stretching, articulation, joint manipulation or a cranial sacral approach. All with the aim of relieving muscle tension and improving balance which will enhance the blood and nerve supply to tissues and help your body’s own healing mechanisms. Advice on posture and exercise will be provided to help aid recovery, promote health and prevent symptoms recurring.
